Back in June

So, as I stated in the last post, June was CRAZY busy... and, not just capital c Crazy... it totally requires all caps! I can't even share all the reasons why it was so crazy, but let's start with the first trip I've taken by myself with all three boys!

We started the month with a trip to San Antonio, Bourne really, to visit my college roommate and her family... me, ALONE, with all 3 boys! I wasn't alone in Boerne, once I got to and stayed at Avery's house with her, Brent and their three girls, but I was alone for the 5+ hours in the car both ways! We did take 5 of our 6 kids (all three of mine!) to Sea World for an entire day and every minute of our visit was full to the max with hot, summer fun!

Dress up was a multiple times per day occurrence! My boys were very entertained with all the girl toys... play kitchen, dolls, and jewelry! There may be some pictures from our trip I can use for bribery in their later years!

Logan and Camdyn- He and She Santas!

Practicing their prom pose!

Ryan in amongst all the princess costumes!

Ryan had a thing for the baby stroller and always felt the need to wear the beads!

Logan loved the neighbors lot full of animals... deer, llamas and ostriches!

Sea World

My personal tour guide... him and his maps!

Reaching for dolphins!

Having both babies, and J not really enjoying his day, Ryan saw most things from the stroller. He enjoyed the dolphins I guess, but was much happier at the inside exhibits where he could walk around.

Brynn and Logan deciding where to go next

This is his "Oh wook!" face

They were very serious about planning this out and "following" the map!

After a few exhibits, we decided it was time to get wet.
Boys on a mission!
I love this picture because this is how he ALWAYS gets where he is going... probably why he always runs into things!

He took this break all by himself... just went and sat for a few minutes!

I attempted to get a picture of the three older ones before the Sea Lion show...

This was the best I got... and Hi Camdyn!

Now that Sesame Street owns Sea World, we got to meet Telly Monster

Pretty cool pic I thought... a turtle on an alligator's head?

I give you one guess whose stroller this was!
Color doesn't matter if it gives you a place to sleep!

Shamu ice cream treat!

At the water show

Logan talkin' up one of the performers

And this was as close as we got to seeing Shamu... after getting their when they opened, we didn't care to wait until 5:30 to see the Shamu show and they only had ONE show that day! Maybe next time!

Park Fun!
This little man got very brave while we were there... getting SO big!

His face here worries me a bit... he's a mischievous one!

These sisters are quite impressive, how they love each other and play so well together!

4 days apart in age... stroller dating???

Rylan- Best baby ever! Seriously, SO happy!

Logan has been telling us that he wants a red convertible when he can drive.

I think we're in trouble!
We visited the neighborhood pool twice while we were there. It was awesome, with it's own lazy river and a beach style that was perfect for Ryan and J baby. Only pics I could get though were when we were getting ready behind the fence... with 6 kids between us, our hands were full once we took the plunge!

Logan, again practicing his Prom pose! :-)

Avery, Rylan and Logan

Avery and her girls!

Our attempt at a picture of all six kids-these were the 3 best!

The trip home included throw up, a much needed stop at Buckee's, and only about 40 minutes of sleep from each child, never at the same time! But at least we can say we did it, we survived, and we all had fun... and next time it's her turn to come to us! :-)

Thank you so much Avery for opening your home and feeding me and the boys for that fun-filled 4 days! What great memories we're making and how wonderful it is to be able to walk through motherhood together! It's a lot of work to plan the days for that many kids, but it's definitely worth it!

Friday Funny- Frog Fun

We are all alive and well... LOTS to post about our busy and very eventful June! I had planned to stay more on top of it with posting between each trip and celebration, but there was A LOT of UNplanned activity that threw me for a loop and has made our lives a little more hectic lately... so for now, as I work to edit pictures and get caught up on the last month, you'll have to settle for some Friday Fun!

This morning, while sitting on the porch watching Ryan play, a little guest decided to grace us with his presence... and thus began 15 minutes of uninterrupted FUN!
Come out, come out wherever you are!

(Sorry Amber, I told you I wasn't good with keeping plants alive!)

Gotcha!

Pure joy on Ryan's face!

He would have kissed him here if I hadn't stopped him!

See that flat blur falling? Yeah, Ryan threw him like a baseball!

Just in case the frog forgot how to hop, Ryan was showing him how!

A little pool time helps keep him closer!

Dancing, as Logan sang a frog song. This kid always has music in his head!

This would have gone on all day if Ryan had his choice. I eventually had to have Logan put the frog on the other side of the fence and Ryan just kept staring under the fence saying, "Bye, bye. Bye, bye!"
I don't want to know what kind of frog that was or if it's going to give my kids some sort of warts or virus or what not... it was fun and my boys are definitely not ones to squirm so I grabbed my camera, called Logan outside from doing his writing, and let them enjoy! We did indeed wash our hands immediately and I was sure to make sure no hands entered the mouth in between chases, so that's good enough for this BOY MOM!
