Halfway There

Doctor appointment today went well. Ultrasound was able to show that all appears normal with baby Ryan and that he is growing on pace. He wasn't in the best position to get any great pics though... he was facing the back and is breech, sitting with his legs crossed. Any attempt at getting a good facial shot were blown because little Ryan was covering his face with his hand.

The doctor assured me that I am not dealing with Placenta Previa, but that the placenta is "low lying" and they will do another ultrasound around 30 weeks to make sure that it continues to make its way above the fetus. Should it stay low, we may have to have a c-section, but he seemed confident that would not be the case.

This pregnancy is very different for me than Logan's was. I'm still in the negative on weight gain, only having gained 1 pound in the last 4 weeks, but the belly is there now and the baby is managing to grow too! I can still wear most of my pants comfortably but am pretty much sticking with the maternity tops now, as they are more comfortable and I don't have to pull them down like the others. We'll be sure to post a belly pic soon, but I'd like to find the one from this point in my pregnancy with Logan and see if there is a difference.
