San Angelo/Bronte Trip 2012

At the end of March we took a family trip back to more of my "stompin' grounds" for my college alumni soccer game at ASU. We stay in Bronte with Jeff's Aunt Jackie and Uncle Benny and this year she decided to make it a family reunion weekend and invite the rest of the family to come into town too!

The boys were in heaven! Joshua was very young and quite a bit more difficult last year, so this was a nice visit for all of us. Ryan probably had the most fun! I do believe that he dreams about living on a farm... seeing as he talks about farms and animals every single day!

Within minutes of arriving, we were out to feed the goats. Two of them are on the bottle, so that was a special part of each day!

And this year, Jayla lived right across the street!
What a fun play partner each and every day!

He was counting the goats :-)

Joshua says, "Dude, I know how you feel! This is how I feel every night when I finish my milk before bed!" More please!!!

This kid will climb anything!

Brotherly FUN!

I love cousin bath time! EVERY night they made orange water after playing so hard in that West Texas dirt!

On Friday I got together with two of my college pals, Kristen and Michele, and their little ones. We have 6 boys between us! Last year we forgot to take pictures and I refused to let that happen again! Maybe next year we'll even get a picture of the three of us!

This is just like how it happens at my house! Little boys watch Logan playing the Wii!

Sweet kisses

Adorable Ryker... such a happy fella!

Cooper LOVED Logan... they enjoyed wrestling!

Cooper blowing kisses bye-bye! I hate saying good-bye, but it's nice to know I'll see them at least annually now!

Friday evening Jeff's 2nd cousins from NM arrived with their little Lane. This is Lane with his Great-Great Grandma Effie. Not many of this relationship around! :-)

Ryan loved when Aunt Jackie would help with rocks in his shoes

Hello, my name is Lane... Lane Tough

Saturday brought lots of FUN! Here's a shot of the Alumni Team. It was a great turnout this year and was great to have SUBS!!!

Little Fan #3

Alumni that I shared the field with back in the day

Picture post-game with my #1 fan! I hope he stays this way forever... loving his mama more than anything else in the world!!! It was so sweet how happy the new t-shirt made him when we visited the book store the day before, even though he was sure to inform me that we lost! :-)

Little Fan #2- He's a MESS!

Some of us with Coach Travis
Thank you Travis for organizing this each year! The campus is looking so great and it's a blessing each year to get to catch up with you and teammates from that special time in my life!

And when I say "mess" I thought I should show you how absolutely dirty he was come bath time that night! Dirty boy, pebbles in his diaper and pockets, and orange dirt in his ears! Love him!!

A little time with the sheep. Dusty caught one so they could pet him instead of just playing chase.

I'm sure that's clean... :-)

Boys and tractors just belong together!

Lots to talk about with Papa... always!

I tried to get some good pictures of the different families represented. We didn't get one of ours because Aunt Kelley wasn't able to make the long trip for a short weekend.

Rusty's Family
Three Kids: Dusty, Coby and Jaci

Aunt Jackie, I'll send you these pictures as promised. Thanks so much for hosting us! It was so great to see everyone. There is nothing more important to me than family and I love times like this and our trips to NY that teach my boys about their heritage... where they come from and who matters in their lives. Already looking forward to seeing them again next year!
