November was full of FAMILY fun!
Lauren's family came for her 30th birthday celebration and we also celebrated her niece's big 3!
Happy birthday Sadie!
We spent a day in Alvin visiting baby Mason for his dedication. Ryan sure loves playing "big brother" when he's around.

End of season "party" :-)
Our annual tradition is to do Thanksgiving with my side of the family the Saturday before and then we always travel for the holiday week of Thanksgiving. Logan's last soccer game fell on that Saturday so we hosted the evening afterwards. These pictures were my attempt to get a Christmas card shot. It worked... after I decided individuals of each kid were a good way to go too. :-)
A few little gifts...
Logan's favorite book from Grandma's house...
now he has his own copy of Harold and the Purple Crayon!

Graham Thanksgiving
I'm SO thankful for a great camera as our BIG gift last year from both sets of grandparents. This year we took the time to have a good family photo shoot and I'm so thrilled with some of the shots we got- without having to pay someone. :-)
Boys+ Leaf Pile= Heaven!
Tractor riding is lots of fun!
Andrea and Ben came and introduced us to sweet little Grant

Playing with their cousin Emily... the kids were outside all day except to come inside to eat.

5 of the great-grandchildren. Matt and Lena, can you photoshop Margaret into here if I give you the original? Sure would be a great to have a shot of all of them "together".

Most of the Strain crew... missing our Cali family!
This little man is quite the tree climber. Notice he climbed in his SOCKS! And sat for a good 15 minutes before we could convince him to get down. :-)
I love Thanksgiving... the fall, the leaves and the time with family! I'm kind of a stickler about Christmas and always wanting to be home on Christmas morning with my kids, but that makes me look forward to and enjoy our traveling each Thanksgiving even more. It's relaxing and the kids playing outside and enjoying the fall is a great gift to all of us!
