Here's a few pics and captions to show what else we've been doing since the new year.
The littles started preschool two days a week!
It's life-changing for this mom that has never had this kind of time to herself!!
Since they don't nap as long at preschool and Joshua is known for his long naps, I caved in (after months of begging) and now let Logan ride the bus home on Tues and Thurs so J's nap doesn't have to be cut short. He LOVES it and would do it every day if it was his choice.
And this is how we "roll" to the bus stop!
Our annual Valentine's day scavenger hunt... and this year Ryan could really pay attention to the clues and think it all through.
Peter Pan on DVD!
My little heartbreakers
Even Dylan likes in on the card opening!
Being in Texas allows for some fun outside in January and February... in shorts as well!
Kelley's getting married in May and a request was made for the boys to wear boots. Buying gently used from a good friend proved to be the way to go... and I think we're set!

They are Ryan's favorite pairs of shoes and he wears them every.where with every.thing. He even naps in them most days and convincing him they don't "go" with sweatpants is a losing battle.
I love taking my boys on "dates" and having that one on one time with them... they always teach me so much. Like here, at ChickFilA with Logan, he informed me, "There WILL be ChickFilA milkshakes in heavan mom. I'm sure of it!"
ChickFilA alone with this one... he thrives on the attention of having me all to himself. What middle child doesn't?!?!
And the park is always his place of choice when you ask him where he wants to go.
He got to have a play date last week with his pal Avery. I loved this shot of them up in the fort together.
We had a "field trip" to the zoo with their preschool friends. I meant to take more pics but with that many kids, it just didn't happen.
These two are sweet little friends!
and he's still my baby! naps required...
Logan borrowed a belt buckle (now he wants me to shop for one) and wore his boots for "Go Texan Day" at school. He was super excited to be a "cowboy" and a pretty cute one if I may say so myself.
