In July I hosted one of our summer playdates for our mom group at church. Since it was the week before our church was scheduled to serve breakfast to the homeless in downtown Conroe, I thought what better time to get the kids involved and do a service project... and it was the BEST way to break in my new table!
Seeing these kiddos, mixed in ages from babies to pre-teens, working together to create a blessing for those less fortunate was a great moment! Praying with them around these necessity items that so many of us take for granted, letting them look forward to passing them out that coming Saturday and seeing their excitement...

And after the "work" came the social play and lunch, of course!
