Last Sunday Logan joined the Bridge Kids at our church. This is a children's church class for 3-6 year olds... a bit more instruction than just going to the nursery during church. He has been awaiting this day for quite some time; actually just since June, when his buddy Levi turned three and was promoted. In his first class, they learned that God made the fish and birds. With that lesson came our very own bird feeder, that we just HAD to hang in a tree as soon as we got home. I was able to convince him that we would eat lunch first, but immediately when eating was done, we were out to the backyard to find the perfect spot!

Hanging the feeder

A little extra hammering was needed

Bring on the birds...

...or should we say squirrels. When we remembered to look out and see whether the seeds were being eaten, the WHOLE thing was gone. All that remained was the hanging string! Jeff's answer was that it must have been a squirrel, so Logan took that answer.
So excited for what this new class will do for our son's little walk with Jesus! He just LOVES it! Thanks to all the wonderful ladies that give of their time tirelessly (and miss service themselves) so that our little ones can learn about God's love for them!
