Spring Fun

Saturdays in March, The Woodlands Waterway held an outdoor concert with free giveaways at a beautiful splash-pad area. We attended the last Saturday of the month with my parents.

Lots to do and a great night for all of us!

Our little water lovin' boy!

Watching big brother:
I can hear them now...
"He's crazy!"

These two prefer to EAT...
all.the.time.
"Grandma and Grandpa bring the best snacks!"

Cheetos!

 Yoo-hoo!

Pizza!

Snow-cones!

Love :-)

Happy Birthday Grandpa!

The next week, we celebrated Grandpa's birthday! Oh how my boys LOVE their Grandpa! He's the best dad, always there for us and encouraging us as parents. We truly enjoyed our dinner out and celebrating one of the best men we know.

All three boys with Grandpa!

Ryan shared his crayons with Grandpa. My dad drank this without noticing for who knows how long.  When we removed them, he threw them back in just seconds later... so it stayed this way till he was done!

Oh, how I'd love to know what Ryan's thinking here.
 :-)

Joshua was excellent at the restaurant (which isn't always the case) but was definitely ready to leave come 8:00.

Buddies

You Pick 'Em
 Goodness

On Good Friday, we went Strawberry Picking. This was a BUSY activity for me and I'm very thankful that other mommas from my Mom2Mom group were there, or I wouldn't have been able to do it with all three kids. These pics should show you why...

Logan was my serious picker

Ryan was my loner...
did NOT care AT ALL about filling a bucket

That's him, sitting in the dirt

He DID care about eating them...

Busted!

So delicious!
(It was a lost cause! Couldn't follow him and keep J-man happy!)

And Joshua maybe picked 5 the whole time... did A LOT of whining and probably crushed more strawberries by walking over the plants than we ended up paying for and taking home.
Sorry Atkinson Farms for the waste he probably created!

Ryan wouldn't STOP eating!!!

Logan and his buddies!

This was great because the strawberries were AWESOME and we ate them daily for a week straight, but I was one tired momma after we finally made it through the store part to pay for our pickings!

Zoo Fun

This past week we went to the zoo for the first time this Spring. I don't think the zoo will ever get old to these guys! Logan loves noting each thing that's different than the time before and Ryan has really enjoyed the freedom of not being in a stroller much while we're there. J-man still stays in the stroller most of the time, but this trip he did get out and do more exploring than ever before.

Meerkats

The new elephant exhibit was finished up now

The sleeping cheetah

They had re-done the cougar exhibit and this was probably my favorite of the day. This mama was so active, jumping through trees trying to catch birds and really gave us something to watch... more than that sleeping cheetah up above! :-)

On the move

Our little guide-man

This picture NEVER happens! Ryan is NOT a poser for the camera so when I asked Logan to sit next to Ryan while we were taking a break and Ryan scooted closer and put his arms around brother, I had to snap it quick... makes my heart smile!!!

"Monkey see, monkey do..."
that would describe Ryan and Joshua's relationship!
And we could continue with "Monkey get in trouble too!"

Tunnel fun!)

Grana and two of her boys!

I have never seen so many hamsters in one small container.
Really, they are stacked on top of each other!

He stopped here and ASKED for a picture.

We have never seen the bears awake! This fella was moving everywhere and a lot more fun to watch than the sleeping ball he usually is. Gonna have to remember that the animals were more active this time because we went a little later in the day!
Thanks again Grana for the zoo membership for the boys' last birthdays. We never tire of being able to go for free for a day filled with fun for all of us! We LOVE it!
