In addition to Kelley getting married in May, my brother is also getting married in July! Jeff and I participated in hosting a couples shower for them in Houston and it was lots of fun! With the kids visiting Grana and Papa for the week, we were able to stay downtown and enjoy a fun night with Mike and Lauren as well!

(the "football" is a tootsie roll- microwave them for 5 seconds and they are pliable and can be made into whatever you wish!)

And a surprise for Mike- homemade ice cream with all the fixins!
As a keepsake, the guests signed two bottles, one wine and one champagne for them to share on a special anniversary/occasion.
Lauren's mom came from KC!
This gift was REALLY special! Bought by his buds a long time ago and held onto for a special gift!
We played the shoe game. I asked questions and they had to hold up the shoe of the person that would best answer the question:
Who made the first move? Who made better grades in school? Who will pay the bills? Who spends more money? Etc... You get the idea!
They didn't agree on much- and it was quite hilarious to watch!
And here you see my brother felt very strongly about his answer! :-)
And I'm thinking Lauren didn't like answering this question! Haha!

Such a fun evening and I'm so happy I could contribute to helping my brother and Lauren be celebrated! They're a precious couple and our family is going to be very blessed to have her! We love you both!!!
