June- Summer Fun!

The kids wasted no time with starting off their summer right! Because we had my brother's shower weekend the beginning of the month, we sent the boys to Graham THE DAY school got out for summer! They spent the first 11 days of the break there and had a blast! We joined them after 7 days and spent a long weekend with family for Father's Day!

Lakeside fun!

Send the kids to the lake without you... and a 2 and 3yr old learn how to tube! These brave boys were amazing me and before we knew it, Ryan was going SOLO!

And Logan learned how to drive the jet ski! (not alone of course, but he was seriously driving... getting SO big!)

Daddy with the littles

Daddy started with Ryan...
 and then hopped off mid-trip!

out there by his lonesome! And LOVING it!

There's no telling how many times this kid sat behind this couch and played Batman.
"Mommy, will you come sit with me?"
"Aunt Kelley (Ke-Whee) will you play Batman?"
"Papa, don't you want to come sit with me?"

And of course, no one could tell him no too often!

Happy Joshua!

Daddy, Big Papa and Pops with the boys!
Happy Father's Day to three fabulous, Godly men!
 A sweet note:
A few days ago while wrestling with daddy,
Ryan said, "Hey dad! You know Big Papa?"
"Well, he's my friend!"

I am SO thankful that my boys have a relationship with extended family on both sides of our family. They know them and love them and I really appreciate how Jeff's mom makes it a priority to invite them to Graham for lunch or dinner EVERY time we're in town. These memories are a treasure to me and to have my 3 year old say his Great Grandpa is his friend just makes my heart smile!

Jeff, Kelley and Logan giving Papa his present...

While the guys golfed one evening, we took the boys to the park.
Had NO IDEA my 3 yr old can do the monkey bars all by himself, all the way across!

These swirly chairs were TONS of fun... but super out of control and made you crazy dizzy! Should have taken video instead of pics!

Brotherly Love!

More of June included LOTS of swimming. My parents pool at their new house is a favorite hang out and it's SO nice to be able to swim and just drive a short distance home after a fun day or evening.

I took a minute to try to get some good summer shots of the littles (to be used on their birthday invitation) and thought some of these were the best!

And this is the first (and probably LAST!) time we used our slip and slide. Not a fan of it killing our grass and I think our hose is too long to give it the level of pressure that it needed without me having to rig it to work better.

As you can see, Joshua enjoyed the "fountain" use most of all!

We finished up June with Logan's best friend's birthday! I just can't believe these boys are turning SEVEN! Fun was had by all with a HUGE slip and slide and the dads got quite a work-out dragging and sling-shotting all the kiddos. Such a great party idea!

Fanta model???

Happy birthday Levi! It's been a great pleasure watching you grow up and having your family as some of our dearest friends! Logan sure loves having you as his pal!
